6 more Covid19 patients have been reported so far today in Sri Lanka, increasing the total number of patients to 1639.
817 patients are being treated in hospitals, while 811 patients have recovered and have been discharged.
Among the patients reported today, 2 are from Sri Lanka Navy (Mullaitivu Quarantine Center & Kalpitiya Quarantine Center), 1 Indonesia returnee and 1 Belarus returnee.
The two remaining patients are close contacts of the Army officer from Horana who had contracted the virus when handling Kuwait returnees at the Airport.
These 2 patients were also in quarantine centers when they were detected.
