MP Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe’s son, who was arrested over an accident at Rajagiriya, has been released on bail.
Rakitha Rajapakshe was released on a Rs.100,000 bail by the Colombo Magistrate’s court.
He was arrested earlier today in connection to an accident involving his vehicle reported under the Rajagiriya flyover last night.
Rakitha is accused of speeding off after colliding with a car, which resulted in the injury of four people, including a pregnant woman.
He was arrested while receiving treatment at a private hospital in Colombo earlier today. (NewsWire)
