A woman who had recently posted a viral video on social media from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital after contracting COVID-19, has recovered.
The woman had shared the video claiming that she was severely ill due to the virus and was going to die, despite being treated in the ICU.
However, the woman has recovered a few weeks after she was treated at the ICU of the Vavuniya Teaching Hospital.
Speaking to reporters, she thanked the doctors and nurses of the hospital who had helped her recover. (NewsWire)
