Litro Gas Lanka has reduced the price of gas slightly from the price hike announced last night.
The price of a 12.5kg cylinder was increased by Rs.1,257 to Rs. 2,750, a 5kg cylinder by Rs. 503 to Rs.1,101, and a 2.5kg cylinder by Rs. 231 to Rs. 520.
The price hike comes after the Government last week removed the price control imposed on LP Gas.
However, despite announcing the price hike last night, Litro Gas Lanka has amended its prices, with a slight reduction.
The new prices of the gas cylinders currently are as follows:
12.5kg – Rs. 2675 (reduced by Rs. 75)
5kg – Rs. 1071 (reduced by Rs. 30)
2.3kg – Rs. 506 (reduced by Rs. 14)
37.5kg – Rs. 8300
