Opposition MP Dr. Harsha de Silva has published a document proving that Litro Gas Lanka has changed the composition of gas of domestic LP gas cylinders.
Sharing the document on Twitter, the MP said “This is clear evidence that Litro Gas Lanka changed the Propane: Butane composition from 20:80 to 50:50 when they arrogantly changed weight from 12.5Kg to 9.2Kg of an 18 Litre cylinder”.
“The question is what happened to the stock of 50:50 composition LPG once the 18L unit was withdrawn?” MP De Silva questioned.
The discussion on the composition of gas of domestic gas cylinders has cropped up after several gas-related explosions were reported across the country in the last few weeks. (NewsWire)
