Short term power disruptions have been experienced in several areas in the country tonight despite assurance from Ministry of Power that there will be no power cuts from today.
“Due to a sudden maintenance of a turbine at the Norochcholai power plant, power cuts of thirty minutes can be expected in several areas from today between 6pm to 9.30 pm” Senior official from Ministry of Power told NewsWire.
