A Sri Lankan youth has locally manufactured an electric motorcycle, the first of its kind in the country.
Sasiranga de Silva is known for previously assembling a three-wheeler that is operated without fuel.
He said the electric motorcycle if fully charged can operate a total distance of 120 km and consists of a maximum speed of 110 km/h.
The Sri Lankan has further revealed that the body, chassis, and electric components of the motorcycle have been locally manufactured.
The motorcycle is expected to be available in the market by August, 2022. The price of the motorcycle is yet be revealed.(NewsWire)
