Sri Lanka’s tourist arrivals fell by 21% in September 2022 in comparison to August, the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) reported.
The SLTDA said 29,802 tourist arrivals were recorded for September 2022 a drop from August’s 47,293.
This is the lowest inflow recorded for the year so far, indicating a setback for the tourism industry’s hope for a robust revival in the upcoming winter season. (NewsWire)
