Sri Lanka qualified for the finals of the Women’s T20 Asia Cup after winning against Pakistan by 1 run.
Sri Lanka Women won the toss and elected to bat first, scoring 122 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs.
Harshitha Samarawickrama top scored with 35 runs, while Anushka Sanjeewani contributed 26 runs, and Nilakshi de Silva and Hasini Perera scored 14 and 13 runs each.
Nashra Sandhu was the key wicket-taker for Pakistan bagging 3 wickets, while Sadia Iqbal, Nida Dar, and Aiman Anwar took one wicket each.
Chasing a target of 122, Pakistan women fell short by 1 run scoring 121 for the loss of 06 in their allotted 20 overs.
Bismah Maroof top scored with 42 runs, while Nida Dar scored 26 runs, Muneeba Ali 18 runs, and Omaima Sohail 10 runs.
Inoka Ranaweera was Sri Lanka’s key wicket-taker with 2 wickets, while Sugandika Kumari and Kavisha Dilhari bagged one wicket each.
