Minister of Energy Kanchana Wijesekara says that US $ 100 Million credit line extended by Indian Government for RoofTop Solar will be utilized to equip several government buildings.
Accordingly, Schools, Universities, Education institutes, Hospitals, District & Divisional Secretariats, Government buildings & Religious institutes will be equipped with RoofTop Solar, utilizing the Indian Govt. credit line.
A progress review meeting was held today chaired by Minister Kanchana Wijesekara and officials from Indian High Commission, CEB and Sustainable Energy Authority of Sri Lanka.
