The United States Assistant Secretary/Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu met President Ranil Wickremesinghe today.
The President’s Media Division (PMD) said the meeting took place at the Presidential Secretariat.
Earlier today, the United States Assistant Secretary/Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu also met Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Ali Sabry.
Commenting on the meeting with the Foreign Minister, US Ambassador to Colombo Julie Chung stated that the discussion focussed on the importance of economic reforms, accountability, and meeting the needs of Sri Lankans.
“Look forward to continuing our long-standing partnership and friendship as democracies with shared interests and values,” she added, in a message on Twitter. (NewsWire)
