Two youths have died after drowning in a well in the Vallipuram area in Point Pedro.
The Police said one youth had fallen into a well while consuming alcohol with a group of friends last evening (24).
Another youth had jumped into the well to rescue the friend, but both had eventually drowned.
The Police said they were rescued from the well in serious condition and had died after being admitted to the Mandigai Hospital.
The Point Pedro Police is conducting further investigations. (NewsWire)
