The Committee on Parliamentary Business has decided to provide a glass of milk to schoolchildren who visit the Parliament to watch its proceedings.
Secretary General of the Parliament Dhammika Dasanayake said the approval of the committee was given to execute this proposal from next year.
He further said that it has been agreed to provide a glass of milk for free to the schoolchildren subject to a maximum of 500 children per day.
The decision was taken at the meeting of the Committee on Parliamentary Business that was held yesterday (08). (NewsWire)
