The overseas travel ban that was imposed on State Minister of Tourism Diana Gamage has been extended.
The Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court has extended the travel ban until 15th December 2022.
The court had imposed a travel ban on State Minister Diana Gamage on 11th November over a complaint filed in October pertaining to her passport, birth certificate, and National Identity Card (NIC).
The Criminal Investigations Department launched a probe into the complaint and was ordered by the court to submit facts on the ongoing investigations.
Taking up for consideration the case today, the Colombo Chief Magistrate extended the travel ban that was imposed on State Minister Diana Gamage. (NewsWire)
