Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera has shared the proposed tariff structure for a cost-reflective electricity pricing formula.
Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said via a Twitter message that the tariff structure has been proposed by the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).
The following are details of the tariff structure that was effective from 2014 to August 2022, the revised tariff structure in August 2022, and the proposed tariff structure for January 2023;
