A Sri Lankan migrant worker is reported to have died due to a sudden illness in Oman, the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) stated.
The SLBFE stated that the woman was placed at a safe shelter in the Sri Lankan Embassy in Oman.
However, she had fallen ill while expecting departure to Sri Lanka and had died after being admitted to a hospital in Oman, it said.
The SLBFE further stated that the deceased is a 67-year-old from Daladagama in Mahawa. (NewsWire)
