A student of Colombo University has been arrested in connection to the murder of a fellow female university student in Colombo.
The body of a 24-year-old female student of Colombo University was found at the Racecourse Grounds in Colombo this afternoon.
The victim was found dead with cut wounds with the Police suspecting she may have been attacked by her boyfriend.
Following investigations launched into the murder, a 24-year-old male student of Colombo University was arrested hours after the incident.
The Police stated the suspect was arrested in Wellampitiya and that further investigations are underway. (NewsWire)
