Two more ministers have been appointed by President Ranil Wickremesinghe today (19), the President’s Media Division (PMD) reported.
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Pavithra Wanniarachchi was sworn in as the Cabinet Minister of Wildlife and Forest Resources Conservation.
Meanwhile, Ceylon Workers Congress (CWC) MP Jeevan Thondaman was appointed as the Cabinet Minister of Water Supply and Estate Infrastructure Development.
The PMD stated that the two ministers were sworn in at the Presidential Secretariat this morning.
Earlier today, Minister Mahinda Amaraweera resigned from his portfolio of Wildlife and Forest Resources Conservation to pave the way for a new appointment. (NewsWire)
