Ceylon Workers Congress (CWC) MP Jeewan Thondaman has become the youngest politician to be appointed as a Cabinet Minister in Sri Lanka.
Thondaman has broken the previous record which was set by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Ranil Wickremesinghe made history as the youngest Cabinet Minister of Sri Lanka at the age of 29 in 1977.
CWC’s Jeewan Thondaman was appointed as the Minister of Water Supply and Estate Infrastructure Development yesterday (19).
