The Mirihana Division Crimes Investigation Unit arrested a 39-year-old woman who was wanted for financial fraud of over Rs. 20 million, during a raid in Kadawatha on Sunday (12)
According to the police, the Nugegoda Magistrate’s Court had issued 46 warrants against the suspect for alleged financial fraud involving food packaging.
The suspect, a resident of Suriyagama, Kadawatha was handed over to the Mirihana Police Station. Mirihana Crimes investigation Unit is conducting further investigations. (NewsWire)
