Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa says the Local Government elections should not be delayed.
Responding to questions raised by reporters at the Parliamentary complex today, the former President said his party is of the view that the elections must be held as planned.
“Who said the elections are postponed? We are of the view that elections should be held. Elections are there to be held, not to be postponed,” Mahinda Rajapaksa stated. (NewsWire)
