The protesters are also prohibited from entering the areas near the President’s Office, President’s official residence, Finance Ministry, and the Galle Face Green during the protest march.
The Police warned that those who violate the court order will be arrested.
Nearly 40 trade unions, including those from the health, fuel, power, water, telecommunications, and banking sector, and student associations have organized a strike action near the Fort railway station against the government’s tax policy. (NewsWire)
