Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa says he is against President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s decision to postpone the Local Government elections.
Speaking to reporters, the former Prime Minister stated that it was the responsibility of the President to conduct the election.
“We are prepared to contest for the election at any time. This government is unsure whether it will win the election, which is why they have postponed the election,” Mahinda Rajapaksa added. (NewsWire)
