Price of gold has reduced by around Rs.15,000-17,000 due to the Sri Lankan Rupee’s appreciation against the US Dollar.
“Price of a 24-karat gold sovereign today was Rs.170,500 and a 21-karat sovereign was Rs.157,500” HIRU News reported quoting Sri Lanka GEM and Jewellery Association.
