A Principal of a school in Balangoda Pinnawala area has been arrested by the police on sexual harassment charges.
The police said that the suspect has been arrested on charges of sexually abusing a school girl.
Preliminary investigations conducted by the police revealed that the suspect had sexually abused an 11-year-old girl living near his house.
The girl has been hospitalized for treatment and the suspect is scheduled to be produced before the Balangoda Magistrate’s Court today (05).
