Fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera has taken to Twitter to clarify several media reports claiming that he has been injured.
He stated that he has almost fully recovered from surgery and has not sustained any new injuries. Chameera also shared a video of himself bowling and announced that he will be joining the Kandy team for the NSL tournament next week
“I have almost recovered from the surgery and have not been injured again. I started training and look forward to play one-day matches again after next week for the Kandy team at the NSL tournament” he tweeted along with a bowling video.
“Wake up early, start the day with a smile, do what u have to do, ignore people’s opinions, stay positive, believe in ur self & keep fighting.
Haven’t felt this fresh for a while. I look forward to joining the Kandy team soon in the ongoing #NSL 50 over tournament” he added in another tweet.
