The Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval to publish the Anti-Corruption draft Bill on the government gazette notification.
Approval has also been granted to present the Draft Bill to the Parliament for its approval.
The government stated that approval of the Cabinet of Ministers was granted at their meeting held on 18.07.2022 for the preparation of the Anti-Corruption draft bill.
Clearance of the Attorney General has also been granted for the said draft bill prepared by the Legal Draftsman.
Accordingly, approval of the Cabinet was granted for the proposal submitted by the Minister of Justice to publish the draft bill on the government gazette notification and present it to the Parliament for approval. (NewsWire)
