The Sri Lankan rupee has continued to depreciate against the US Dollar today (17), according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
The buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from yesterday’s rate of Rs. 329.02 to Rs. 332.20, while the selling rate has increased from Rs. 346.33 to Rs. 350.22.
The rupee has also depreciated further against the Australian, Canadian, and Singapore dollars, the Euro, Sterling Pound, and the Swiss Franc today.
However, the rupee has slightly appreciated against a basket of Gulf currencies. (NewsWire)
