A total of 335,679 tourist arrivals have been reported for the first three months of 2023, the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) reported.
According to the SLTDA, a total of 125, 495 tourist arrivals have been recorded from 1st to 31st March 2023, in comparison to the 106,500 reported in March 2022.
It is an 11.5% increase from February’s tourist arrivals of 107,639, while 102,545 tourist arrivals were reported in January 2023.
The SLTDA stated that Russia has been reported as the leading source market for Sri Lanka’s tourist arrivals, followed by India, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France.
Sri Lanka has continued to record over 100,000 tourist arrivals over the last three months. (NewsWire)
