Thundershowers are expected in several provinces of Sri Lanka in the evening or night today, the Department of Meteorology stated.
The department stated that thundershowers accompanied by severe lightning are likely to occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and North-Western provinces.
Thundershowers are also likely in the Mannar, Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa districts during the evening or night.
The department added that fairly heavy showers above 75mm are likely in some places. (NewsWire)
