“Five men & 3 women suffer minor injuries after a security guard of a road construction site near Colombo harbour’s Gate No. 6 opened fire at a mob from Bloemendhal Street who intervened to prevent 2 persons from robbing iron from the site being taken into custody” Police spokesman said.
