A group of tourists were attacked by a swarm of bees at the Nine Arches Bridge in Demodara, Ella recently.
According to video footage shared by a foreign couple, they were suddenly attacked by bees while site seeing at the Sri Lankan tourist attraction.
The male foreign tourist who was caught in the midst of the bee attack was later assisted by locals who had set fire to hay to drive away the bees.
The couple later visited the area hospital where they were administered the necessary medicine and kept under observation after which they were discharged. (NewsWire)
