Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry has met with the Finance Minister of India Nirmala Sitharaman on the sidelines of the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) 56th Annual Meeting.
Taking to Twitter, Minister Sabry stated that the two parties discussed further strengthening the bilateral relationship and economic partnership for the benefit of both Sri Lanka and India.
“I also expressed our gratitude to @nsitharaman & the Govt of #India for all the assistance & support extended to us during a very difficult & challenging time, and for contributing positively towards our recovery process,” Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister further stated.
