A 40-year-old man has been arrested for having shared pictures of children with sexually explicit statements on social media.
The suspect who had used a fake profile on Facebook to carry out his activities was arrested by officials of the Police Computer Crime Investigation Division this week.
The suspect who is an employee of a private firm was arrested in the Wattegama area in Yatawara.
The man has been remanded until May 18, 2023, after being produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court. (NewsWire)
