The Ministry of Health expects to reduce the prices of medicines by 10-15% within the next week, Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella stated.
Minister Rambukwella stated that steps are being taken to reduce the price of medicines in line with the drop in the US Dollar rate.
He further stated that discussions have commenced between the Finance Ministry and the Accounts Department of the Health Ministry in this regard. (NewsWire)
