A Police investigation has been launched into an alleged incident of assault involving Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara.
According to Ada Derana, MP Dayasiri Jayasekara has been accused of having allegedly assaulted a photographer of the SLFP media unit.
The probe has been launched following a complaint filed with the Cinnamon Gardens Police.
In the Police complaint, the Parliamentarian has been allegedly accused of assaulting the photographer during an event held at the BMICH in Colombo. (NewsWire)
