The fuel quota provided currently under the National Fuel Pass QR system will be increased from next month’s fuel price revision, Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera announced on Friday (26).
Taking to Twitter, Minister Wijesekera said that the decision was taken at the meeting held yesterday with the finance, commercial, and marketing divisions of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).
The Minister further stated that the CPC cargo plan, finances, and distribution plans were also reviewed during the meeting.
At present, a fuel quota of 30 litres has been allocated for cars, special purpose vehicles, and land vehicles, 08 litres for three-wheelers, 7 litres for motorcycles, and 60 litres for buses. (NewsWire)
