Twenty-two (22) persons have been injured following a head-on collision between a private bus and a lorry on the Colombo – Avissawella Road this morning.
The Police stated that 20 passengers of the bus, the driver of the bus, and the driver of the lorry had sustained injuries in the accident.
The Police further stated that the injured individuals have been admitted to the Homagama and Nawagamuwa hospitals.
The accident had occurred in the Embulgama area in Hanwella along the Colombo- Avissawella Road early this morning. (NewsWire)
