The Welikada Police have arrested a bus driver after a viral video showed him threatening a traffic police officer who had fined him for a traffic violation.
In the footage, the suspect, identified as Dilshan, introduced himself and warned the officer not to stay on the road after issuing the fine.
The arrest followed an investigation initiated in response to the widespread attention the video received on social media platforms.
