A student of the Management Faculty of the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka has drowned while using the university’s swimming pool.
According to the Mihintale Police, the deceased is a first-year student of the university and a 21-year-old resident of Kokuvil, Batticaloa.
Investigations have revealed that the boy who had gone swimming with five other friends had drowned while attempting to get into the pool from the deep end yesterday (Aug. 27).
