The Sri Lanka Cricket team is set to depart for India tomorrow night, yet the official World Cup squad remains shrouded in mystery.
Fans are left in the dark, wondering why the squad for the upcoming World Cup has not been announced as of yet.

- Maheesh Theekshana and Wanindu Hasaranga will not be traveling with the team to India on Tuesday night
- Maheesh Theekshana is expected to join the team after a week once he fully recovers from his injury
- “It’s highly unlikly” Wanindu Hasaranga will be able to play in the World Cup recovering from his injury
- Selectors are discussing whether to replace Wanindu with Chamika Karunaratne or Dushan Hemantha.
- Similar to Sri Lanka, Bangladesh have also not yet named the squad, but they will be leaving for India on Wednesday.
