Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) has been granted the renewal of its Petroleum Products Licence by the Government of Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, the local subsidiary of the Indian Oil Corporation will be allowed to continue its retail operations in Sri Lanka for another 20 years.
It is reported that the renewed Petroleum Products Licence is effective from January 22, 2024.
The announcement was made by LIOC’s Managing Director, Dipak Das in a letter addressed to the Chief Regulatory Officer of the Colombo Stock Exchange. (NewsWire)
