A shooting incident has been reported from the Dadalla area in Galle on Saturday (18) afternoon.
Police say that 2 unidentified suspects arriving in a Wagon R type car had opened fire targeting a person inside a three wheeler parked outside a hotel in Dadalla area.
No injuries have been reported in the shooting while the car used by the suspects was later recovered in the Galle, Habaraduwa area.
The police further said that the driver of the three wheeler and his son had come to pick up a foreigner from the hotel based on the instructions of another person, when the shooting took place.
Galle Police is conducting further investigations to apprehend the suspects ( NewsWire)
