The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a US$ 200 million concessional loan to the Government of Sri Lanka.
The ADB announced that the loan has been approved to help stabilize Sri Lanka’s finance sector.
Providing further details on the loan, the ADB said the Financial Sector Stability and Reforms Programme comprises two subprogrammes of US$ 100 million each.
The loan is accompanied by a US$ 1 million grant from the ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund, it added. (NewsWire)
