The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a proposal for the re-opening of three overseas Sri Lankan diplomatic missions that were temporarily closed during the 2021/2022 period.
The government said it has identified the need to reopen the following Sri Lanka Missions;
- Sri Lankan Consulate General’s Office in Nicosia, Cypress
- Sri Lankan Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq
- Sri Lankan Consulate General’s Office in Frankfurt, Germany
Accordingly, the Cabinet approved the proposal presented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs to reopen the said overseas diplomatic missions. (NewsWire)
