The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated slightly against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Jan 12), compared to Thursday.
At Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 317.01 to Rs. 316.52 and from Rs. 328.06 to Rs. 327.55, respectively.
According to Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar is unchanged at Rs. 315.54, while the selling rate also remains unchanged at Rs. 326.50.
At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 318.50 to Rs. 318 and from Rs. 327.50 to Rs. 327, respectively. (NewsWire)
