The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Jan 22), compared to last Friday.
At Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 315.30 to Rs. 314.80 and from Rs. 326.28 to Rs. 325.78, respectively.
According to Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 314.92 to Rs. 313.93, while the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 325 to Rs. 324.
At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 316 to Rs. 315 and from Rs. 325 to Rs. 324, respectively. (NewsWire)
