The Police have discovered the vehicle allegedly used in the murder of Venerable Kalapaluwawe Dhammarathana Thera (44) at a temple in Gampaha abandoned and set ablaze in the Nawagamuwa area.
The charred remains of the vehicle were found this evening, offering a potential lead in the investigation into the monk’s death.
Police said that a group arrived claiming to be CID officials to the temple has shot the monk. (NewsWire)
