The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Jan 26), compared to Wednesday.
At Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 314.07 to Rs. 312.11 and from Rs. 325.01 to Rs. 322.98, respectively.
According to Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 313.93 to Rs. 310.59, while the selling rate has also reduced from Rs. 324 to Rs. 321.50.
At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 315 to Rs. 312.50 and from Rs. 324 to Rs. 321.50, respectively. (NewsWire)
