The prevailing dry weather condition in the Northern, North-central, Eastern and Uva provinces is expected to change from tomorrow, the Department of Meteorology said.
Mainly fair weather will prevail over the island, while ground frost may occur at some places in the Nuwara-Eliya district during the early hours of the morning.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa, Western and Uva provinces and the Galle and Matara districts during the morning.
Meanwhile, mainly fair weather will prevail in the sea areas around the island.
Winds will be north-easterly and wind speed will be 25-35 kmph. Wind speed may increase up to 40-50 kmph at times in the sea areas off the coasts extending from Colombo to Kankasanthurai via Puttalam and Mannar and from Galle to Pottuvil via Hambantota.
